This years team, Whale House, has chosen to compete in the technical challenge: Maze Craze. This year they will attempt to design and build a device to navigate a tournament-provided maze, a prop that transforms in the maze, and they have to remove an object from the maze all while telling a story about the journey through the maze.

Join us as we present at the Northern Regional Showcase on March 10th at Hampden Academy and the Maine State Celebration on March 24 at Bangor High School.

Black Hole to Imagination, Beech Hill's Destination Imagination Team during the 2016-2017 academic year followed in the footsteps of the BHS Squad earning first place in the state of Maine, qualifying for Global Finals, in the scientific challenge. For this challenge, they had to create and present a story about a secret mission where they apply methods from cryptography and steganography to reveal secret messages. One of these messages had to be coded and decoded live on stage!
