School Performance Reports

Adequate Yearly Progress, or AYP, is a measurement defined by the United States federal No Child Left Behind Act that allows the U.S. Department of Education to determine how every public school and school district in the country is performing academically according to results on standardized tests. All kindergarten through twelfth grade schools are required to demonstrate AYP in the areas of reading, mathematics, and attendance rates for elementary and/or middle schools. This status is based on NECAP tests which assess students' learning from year to year. The links below provide more information about our school's performance.

Maine teachers must hold valid state certification and meet NCLB federal guidelines regarding Highly Qualified status. All of our teachers are Highly Qualified under the No Child Left Behind Act. Parents have the right to request information about the qualifications of their child's teacher and can do so by contacting the principal.
